Our mission is to provide our neighbors (that's if you live in Spartanburg like we do, we love you just as much if you live in Peoria Illinois, just over the mountain in Asheville NC, Charlotte NC, if you live in Houston TX or to the northern tip of Washington state....y'all are all our neighbors!) with the very best one on one services to meet them where they are in growing a successful business. We know from years of business ourselves, if you are not taking action to get cleints you are likely stressing out about your bottom line.... but, you are going to meet budget if you can keep new clients coming to you, and you are only growing if you are taking more steps forward to increase the number of clients you are taking care of every month. You are only growing healthy if you need to hire new employees to add to your payroll! And with growth, on an ongoing basis that does a few things good for everyone- brings more jobs to our communities, takes care of families and leaves a strong legacy for your children and grandchildren, and perhaps more generations beyond. Growth can free up the business owners time while providing your company with future opportunity. We believe that the huge blessing that we strive to provide with our clients is the FREE TIME that they can enjoy life, and spend more time with their children, family and friends. That is what is at our heart to work hard to help others achieve that, it's a mission we take very seriously, and it is applied within our family. When you partner with our team at Carpe DM Products, we commit to work hard to gain more clients for you- so that you can have that precious freedom more often.
I'm Mike and I spent over 30 years in restaurant management, some of which was in training and development. I have hired and trained more than a thousand employees and managers over the years. As part of my duties as a General Manager I would go out and do different local marketing strategies. I also am very customer service oriented and learned very early on that the customer is the person who is your true 'boss'! Without them, you have no business. I also have a great deal
of knowledge where profit and loss is concerned, as I would analyze the general ledger and Profit and Loss statements monthly to see where improvement was needed to maximize our profit potential from the store level. In 2009, I decided to further my education and in February of 2014, I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received my BA in IT and Web Design. In 2011, while studying, working full time and raising a family, I launched my own computer repair business, which I still run today, the technical side of things remains my passion, and I have a true talent for solving those types of problems. As the internet continued to become more and more relevant, an additional service I offered was web design, so I began to focus more in mastering the functionality of a website. In early 2016, I spun it off of the computer repair business and created Carpe DM Products, a web design, SEO & Lead Generation company located here in Spartanburg. My wife and I have always liked the Latin term Carpe Diem, which translates to Seize the Day… so with her joining me we have Carpe DM (Debbie & Mike) Products! None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, so in business and in life, you need to seize opportunities today. We have committed to carry through with all of life’s lessons learned, and focus on one key thing that made me successful when running restaurants, customer service! Doing everything we can to make them win at every turn. I pride myself in the one on one connection with my clients and believe that long term relationships help my clients' business and, in turn, my business to be successful. There are many positive aspects to our company, but the customer focus and treating our teams like family is something we will never waiver on, and never lose sight of! *Mike’s Specialties: Initial establishing new businesses online, site builds, brand development, website ranking (SEO), technical trainer & support, software support, billing specialist. As of May 2024, these responsibilities are taken care of alternate team members, Em, JP, Debbie and others.
Mike Hall 04/06/65 to 05/17/24 May he ever rest in Heaven
In January of 2018, I left my workplace of 20 years in customer service and management and began really working alongside Mike at Carpe DM Products. The year before that we had lost our oldest child, she was a mother of two precious children, and she was only 26. That was a huge wake up call for me. We had other family members who had health struggles as well. I was driven to succeed when I first began my journey with the company I was with and maintained that behavior through
my service to them but running on no sleep and working too many hours for someone else was wearing on me, especially when I realized my time belonged to everyone but myself. And my family needed me far more than my boss did. In order for us to provide for our family, it was necessary to put everything that was important to them and to us, on the back burner or else go without sleep! So, I did not sleep very much at all the first 20 years of my children’s lives! That’s dangerous, so though I loved my job, I began to realize it was not even close to being worth the sacrifice I was making, in my closest relationships, my physical nor my mental health. I joined Mike is his adventure. Since then, I have watched others in our family struggle with “the traditional workplace” which has seemingly become tougher to navigate, more invasive on family life and freedom, more toxic and less rewarding. Our families deserve more! With the hard work we have put in over the years to evolve and develop Carpe DM Products, we have made a way for big business builders with capital as well as the median wage earner in America, who can’t necessarily make big money leaps, be able to work on their chosen gifts and create an income that allows them to dictate their own time and spend more time with their loved ones, and more money on the things that really matter to them. It is our passion to not only help others build businesses, but to literally change the lives of those who are willing to step out in faith and start their own thing.” Debbie’s Specialties: Research, content creation, call direction & auditing, planning, coordinating client & team events, training, Social Media management, team support, Billing Specialist.
Together our team here at Carpe DM Products take care clients all over the country and in many different types of business, by way of online presence, website builds, lead generation, social media management, and even hiring assistance. We have done long term work on sites in everything from Chiropractors to Realtors to Appliance repair. We literally serve clients (now friends and “family”!) from coast to coast and border to border (LA County to Charleston, SC & Ohio to Texas). We love meeting business builders where they are and helping fellow business owners take that first leap and begin to grow their business, fulfilling their passion for their chosen trade, and support their dreams and families. We have been blessed to see more of our children, and helped our clients realize that dream for themselves too! More of us now have been able to be absolutely present when it matters with our families, and with our Legacy stepping in, our own are experiencing what it means to enjoy a life that offers more freedom than the traditional workplace, develop more lifelong relationships, while helping other like minded people as well.

Spartanburg, South Carolina, isn't just the place where our business—Carpe DM Products—calls home; it’s where we thrive, grow, and contribute to a community we love. Nestled in the heart of the Upstate, Spartanburg has a rich history, a vibrant present, and a promising future. It's a place where industries meet innovation, where small businesses find their footing, and where local entrepreneurs can tap into resources to scale their dreams. As a digital marketing and website design company, we feel incredibly fortunate to be part of Spartanburg's ongoing revitalization, helping local businesses grow with our services such as SEO, lead generation, and of course, web design.
Spartanburg’s transformation over the last decade has been a sight to behold. There’s a palpable energy downtown, with the restoration of historic buildings and a growing cluster of new businesses and company headquarters. We’re part of that evolution, not only through our work but by joining in the celebration of what this city is becoming. Morgan Square, the heart of downtown, has seen a major facelift. With a mix of charming boutiques, new restaurants, and modern office spaces, it’s the perfect blend of the past and the future. We find ourselves drawn to this blend, seeing firsthand how a community that values its history can embrace modern-day innovations like digital marketing to boost its local economy.
Our home office in Spartanburg serves as the hub of our operations, and while we also have offices in Asheville and Charlotte, Spartanburg will always be the heart of Carpe DM Products. There's a unique warmth in Spartanburg that’s hard to replicate, a sense of community that draws people together to support one another. For us, that support is evident in the way Spartanburg-based businesses band together to lift up one another. This community spirit is what inspires us to help local businesses thrive in the digital world, providing them with the tools they need to grow, from creating beautiful websites to driving organic traffic through SEO to ensuring their online presence stands out.
One of the best parts of being based in Spartanburg is how accessible it is to everything in the Upstate region. Positioned right in the middle of the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson metro area, Spartanburg is a key player in a thriving economic zone. Whether it’s partnering with local businesses or collaborating with national players in the area, Spartanburg feels like the perfect blend of small-town charm and big-city opportunity. Spartanburg is home to several major companies like Denny’s, KYMCO, and Milliken & Company, just to name a few. The city is a testament to the diverse business landscape that thrives here. As a company, we’re proud to contribute to that diversity by offering services to local entrepreneurs, helping them scale their businesses online.
We’re especially excited to enjoy the Spartanburg Music Trail, which showcases the city’s rich musical heritage. One of the names that stands out on the trail is local legend James Reece. James, who has long been a fixture in Spartanburg’s music scene, recently teamed up with us to create a website for his nonprofit project that will benefit local businesses and families for years to come! It’s a perfect example of how we’re committed to supporting our community, whether it's through the arts, local charities, or businesses. James’ personal dedication to preserving and celebrating Spartanburg’s musical history is something we admire, and it was a privilege to be part of his online presence in the non- profit space. Working with such passionate and driven people reminds us of why we do what we do—because at the end of the day, it's about helping others shine and succeed in their business in such a way that it gives them more freedom on a personal level.
As Spartanburg continues to develop, we also see a city that’s adapting to the digital age. There’s a shift happening here—a shift toward innovation, connectivity, and growth. But none of that can happen without the tools to bring it all together. That’s where we come in. Website design isn’t just about creating a pretty page; it’s about building a foundation for success. SEO is more than just ranking on Google; it’s about being seen by the right audience. Lead generation is more than collecting names; it’s about turning those names into loyal customers. Spartanburg’s businesses, both old and new, are taking their digital presence seriously, and we’re honored to play a part in that growth.
Another thing that excites us about Spartanburg is its strong sense of pride in local history. Whether it's the legacy of the textile mills, the preservation of landmarks like the Magnolia Street Train Depot, or the stories tied to places like Walnut Grove Plantation, Spartanburg has a deep respect for its past. But it also embraces the future. The ongoing revitalization of the downtown area, along with major developments like the Marriott hotel and the ongoing work at the historic Beaumont Mill, prove that Spartanburg is a city that’s willing to adapt and innovate while still honoring its roots.
That’s why we’re here: we’re here to help Spartanburg’s businesses embrace the future while staying grounded in the values that have made this city a special place to call home. Digital marketing isn’t just about having an online presence; it’s about giving businesses the tools to build meaningful relationships with their customers, both near and far. Our services aren’t just about clicks and conversions; they’re about creating connections that matter. Whether you’re a local restaurant wanting to attract more diners or a retail store looking to expand your customer base, we want to help you succeed in every way we can.
It’s exciting to see Spartanburg becoming a tech-forward city, a hub for businesses to not just survive but thrive. Whether it’s through the city’s welcoming approach to new businesses, its expanding workforce, or the rise of entrepreneurial spirit, Spartanburg is becoming a city to watch. There’s a momentum here that can’t be ignored, and we’re proud to be a part of it. As the city continues to grow, so too will our commitment to helping local businesses succeed online.
We also can’t overlook the charm that comes with being in a city that values its community. From the local events like “Music on Main” to the annual “Hotspot Skatepark” competitions, Spartanburg is full of opportunities for locals to come together and celebrate what makes this area unique. We’re constantly amazed at the level of passion and energy that local business owners and community members put into making Spartanburg a better place. That’s what inspires us to continue doing what we do—helping others succeed, building relationships, and contributing to a city that’s evolving every day.
So, Spartanburg isn’t just where we happen to have our office; it’s the place that fuels our passion for digital marketing and online growth. It’s a city with a story to tell and a future that’s bright. As Spartanburg continues to grow and evolve, we at Carpe DM Products are excited to grow with it. Whether it’s helping a local coffee shop build a stronger online presence, or working with a nonprofit like James Reece’s project to inspire up-and-coming business owners, we’re committed to seeing our people in this city—and its businesses—thrive in the digital age. Spartanburg has something special, and we’re proud to be part of its journey.
